Gunk: The Gunk is a cat-sized opportunistic omnivore that will eat anything remotely edible. Their main source of food are fruits, nuts, and roots, although they will feast on the occasional carcass. 
Due to their nature to dig up things and eat whatever they can get their grubby little paws on, gunks are considered pests in the areas they inhabit and an invasive species to many. Their meat smells rancid and isn’t edible to most other species, so they are predator-free in habitats that aren’t their native lands in the Drallowi wetlands.
Their teeth are small and embedded into their gums, giving them a toothless appearance. But don’t be fooled, their saliva is highly venomous so a bite from them is painful, but usually not lethal. 
In addition to that nastiness, they have stink glands in their rear end and spray any perceived threats with an awful-smelling liquid emitting irritating poison fumes.
