Droggit

Droggit: The Droggit, as it is so called, is a carnivorous aquatic canine-like animal 2-3 feet tall that lives in wetlands and/or near bodies of freshwater such as rivers and lakes. It sports two eyes, one large one on its head and another smaller one at the end of its tail that looks out for dangers while they are occupied with eating, drinking, or even sleeping sometimes. Both have tympanic membranes that it uses to see underwater and to blink. Its skin comes in varying colors (mainly green and brown but occasionally more bizarre colors can be spotted) and is smooth with splotchy patterns on its back and joints. Its hind legs and feet have spurs and are muscular, but they are more built to hop place to place rather than running.

They are naturally curious creatures, and investigate whatever piques their interests. When trained properly, they can prove to be friendly and playful companions. But wild ones are feral in nature as with most wild animals. Pinning their ears and growling when threatened. The locals who keep Droggit as a pet or companion use them to catch small game or simply for emotional support.
